In 1963 The Lord asked a question, "Whom shall I send and who will go for Us?" And just like the Prophet Isaiah answered his calling David Jones Sr. responded also "Here am I send me". He began Pastoring the New Mount Gilead Baptist Church in 1970. He was a faithful spirit-filled Pastor/Teacher for seventeen years. In May of 1987 the Lord required more from him and led him to be the Pastor of Arlington Park First Baptist Church. After twenty-one years of service he continues to preach and teach the Uncompromising Word of God. Pastor Jones is a dedicated Pastor who loves the Lord and people as well. His family is also dedicated to the ministries of the church, from his Wife of forty-eight years to his Children and Grandchildren as well.
